These terms govern your use of aichess.co.uk and any digital product you buy from AI Chess. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or make a purchase.

The service

AI Chess publishes articles, guides and, where noted, a paid digital product, all aimed at Club-level adult improvers rated roughly 1000-1900 on Lichess or Chess.com who already have Stockfish a click away but don't know how to interrogate an engine, read its evaluations, or turn its output into a training plan.. The site and any product are provided for your own informational and educational use. Nothing on aichess.co.uk is professional, financial, medical or legal advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in your situation.

Licence to use purchased products

When you buy a digital product from us, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use it for your own purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly share, or upload the product, in whole or in part, to any other website, marketplace, file-sharing service or shared drive. The product remains our intellectual property; buying it gives you a licence to use it, not ownership of the underlying content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, mirror or systematically copy the content of aichess.co.uk; not to use the site to distribute malware, spam or unlawful content; not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems; and not to impersonate AI Chess or misrepresent your affiliation with us. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches this section.

Accounts and payment

Purchases are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, under its own terms. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change at any time for future purchases; a change in price does not affect an order you have already placed.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and any product are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the content is error-free, complete, or suited to your particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Chess is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or a purchased product; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continuing to use aichess.co.uk after a change means you accept the revised terms.
